Connecting People to Support Services Across Uganda
Knowing that help exists is not the same as being able to access it. Many vulnerable individuals in Uganda are aware that services, organisations, and programmes exist to support them — but navigating those systems alone, without guidance or an advocate, is often impossible. Language barriers, bureaucratic complexity, geographical distance, stigma, and lack of information all stand between people and the services they need. Ginnello's CBO exists to close that gap.
Our service linkage project goes beyond simple referrals. We act as an active, trusted bridge — assessing each individual's specific needs, identifying the right organisations and programmes within our network, facilitating the connection, and following up to ensure the person has genuinely been received and supported. We link individuals to health services, social welfare programmes, economic empowerment initiatives, legal assistance, specialist counseling, and much more — building the pathways to sustainable, long-term support that one person and one organisation alone could never create.

Needs-Matched Referrals |
We never make generic referrals. Each person's needs are carefully assessed before we identify the most appropriate organisation or programme — ensuring the connection is genuinely relevant and that the support offered truly matches what the individual requires.
Active Facilitation |
We do not simply hand someone a phone number and wish them well. We actively facilitate the connection — making introductions, helping individuals navigate intake processes, and accompanying them through the steps needed to access the support they have been referred to.
Trusted Partner Network |
Our referrals are built on a curated network of trusted organisations, government programmes, and specialist services that we have personally vetted. We only connect individuals to partners we are confident will treat them with dignity, competence, and genuine care.
Follow-Up & Accountability |
After a referral is made, we follow up with the individual to confirm the connection was successful and that the support received was appropriate. Where it was not, we intervene — finding alternative routes and holding the process accountable until the person is genuinely helped.
The Services We Connect People To
From primary healthcare and maternal services to mental health facilities and specialised medical care, we connect individuals who lack access to health services to the right facilities and programmes — removing the barriers that keep vulnerable people from getting the care they need.

Many eligible individuals are unaware of or unable to access government social welfare programmes, NGO support initiatives, and community welfare networks. We identify these opportunities and actively facilitate access for the individuals we support.

Sustainable wellbeing requires economic stability. We connect individuals to vocational training, microfinance schemes, income-generating programmes, and skills development initiatives — giving people the economic foundation to support themselves and their families over the long term.
